Darrel and Ratana: A winning team for clean water and toilet building in Cambodia. Working at Cambodia Clean Water and Toilet Project in Siem Reap has a lasting impact on the young man who plays an important role in the promotion of WASH.
G’day and Greetings from Cambodia,

I continue to be moved by the plight of village families as they struggle to improve their lives when they have so little.  Kok Benh Village has clusters of communities that have no toilets.  We have just finished installing sanitary toilets / wash rooms for eight families.  No longer will they have to use the jungle behind their houses as their toilet.  No longer will they experience the vulnerability and shame when having to defecate in the open.  Their appreciation is beyond words but one mother shared her feelings and it warmed my heart.  Her translated words are in the photo following.
